HOUSTON, Texas, Oct. 7 (TNSres) -- The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston issued the following news:
A $3 million grant to determine how genes affect a person's risk for heart failure has been awarded to Bing Yu, PhD, The JLH Foundation Chair in Transplant Prevention at UTHealth School of Public Health. The project is co-led with Vasan Ramachandran, MD, inaugural dean of the school's San Antonio campus.
