WASHINGTON, Oct. 6 -- Rep. David Trone, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen and Congressmen David Trone, Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, and Kweisi Mfume, (all D-Md.) announced $1,029,802 in federal funding to strengthen Maryland students' math and science skills. The funds come from the U.S. Department of Education's Upward Bound Math and Science Program, which supports academic and career counseling to help students . . .
