HARTFORD, Connecticut, Oct. 5 -- Gov. Ned Lamont, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release on Oct. 4, 2022:
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved his request to expand the natural disaster declaration that it recently approved for certain parts of Connecticut due to the drought that impacted the state this summer.
