WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:

Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and Congressmen Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Kweisi Mfume, and David Trone (all D-Md.) announced $1,029,802 in federal funding to strengthen Maryland students' math and science skills.
