New ACS Report: Decrease In Breast Cancer Mortality Rate Continues; Wide Gap For Black Women Remains Stagnant

ATLANTA, Georgia, Oct. 4 (TNSjou) -- The American Cancer Society issued the following news release:

While breast cancer death rates dropped by 43% from 1989 to 2020, Black women continue to be 40% more likely to die from the disease despite lower incidence.
