WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 -- Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kansas, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) joined his colleagues last week in introducing a resolution condemning the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian woman whose killing last week by Iran's "morality police" sparked nationwide protests.
The resolution also calls on the government of Iran to end its systemic persecution of women and celebrates the bravery of the Iranian . . .
