WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Virginia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine applauded $1,422,570 in federal funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) for economic development projects in Wise County, Radford, and Roanoke. The funding will go toward three projects improving quality of life and promoting economic growth in the region.
