WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kansas, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) and Mark Warner (D-Va.) introduced legislation to amend the Internal Revenue Code to make certain that funding, recently passed by Congress, for the deployment of broadband will not be considered taxable income.
Grants awarded to industry for the purposes of broadband deployment are currently factored into a company's income and will soon be subje . . .
