WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release on Sept. 29, 2022:
Senator Maggie Hassan today joined her colleagues in voting to pass a bill to continue government funding. Senator Hassan also helped to secure $1 billion in emergency funding for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in the bill, in order to help bring down energy costs for Granite Staters.
