WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:
The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee advanced bipartisan legislation that Senator Maggie Hassan pushed for, including a bill to help provide surplus government computers to nonprofit computer refurbishers -- who would then repair and distribute these computers to veterans and others who need them.
