MOBILE, Alabama, Sept. 27 (TNSgov) -- The Southern Environmental Law Center issued the following news release:
On behalf of Mobile Baykeeper, the Southern Environmental Law Center and former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama Richard Moore filed a lawsuit against Alabama Power challenging the company's illegal plan to permanently leave more than 21 million tons of coal ash at Plant Barry in an unlined pit within the floodplain on the banks of the Mobile River. < . . .
