WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Georgia, issued the following news release on Sept. 21, 2022:
The Senate passed a bill today honoring the late John Lewis, co-lead by Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) and Rep. Nikema Williams (D-GA). The bill, which passed in the House of Representatives on February 1, names the Atlanta Main Post Office at 3900 Crown Road SW the "John R. Lewis Post Office Building."
