WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Virginia, issued the following news release and letter:
U.S. Senators Tim Kaine (D-VA), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), and Mike Rounds (R-SD), as well as a bipartisan group of their colleagues, sent a letter to Department of Defense (DoD) Secretary Lloyd Austin and White House officials, urging additional action to address per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) testing and remediation and improvements to PFAS-related planning.
