JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Sept. 17 -- The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued the following news:
Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Jacksonville metro area's unemployment rate dropped to 2.8 percent in August 2022, 1.3 percentage points lower than the August 2021 rate of 4.1 percent.
