WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin (all D-Md.) announced $1,696,734 in federal funding to support improvements at the Easton/Newnam Field airport. The funds are provided through the Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration's Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and will extend and improve the airport's runway and safety area to meet the operation . . .
