HONOLULU, Hawaii, Sept. 14 (TNSfund) -- The University of Hawaii issued the following news release:

Kapi'olani Community College has been awarded a $1.5-million grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to lead the seven University of Hawaii Community Colleges in an effort to increase STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) degree attainment of underrepresented minority students in Hawaii.
