WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 -- Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Georgia, issued the following news release:
In response to a nationwide rise in violent crime, Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) met with the Chatham County Police force to learn more about the state of policing in the First District and offer support to the brave men and women who serve and protect it.
"Right now, our law enforcement officers are facing unprecedented attacks on their ability to do their jobs. . . .
