WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 -- Rep. John P. Sarbanes, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Congressman John Sarbanes joined Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and Congressmen Dutch Ruppersberger and Kweisi Mfume (all D-Md.) in announcing $1.2 million to increase the availability of civil and criminal legal assistance for survivors of dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, among other forms of domestic violence.
