WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and Congressmen Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, and Kweisi Mfume (all D-Md.) announced $597,900.90 in federal funding for Baltimore firefighters and first responders.
The funding will help fire departments, state fire training academies, and nonaffiliated emergency medical services organizations enhance their response capabilitie . . .
