WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Sept. 7, 2022:
U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $9,076,886 from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for five West Virginia programs designed to promote public safety and strengthen justice systems throughout the state.
