Dr. Sparkle Malone, whose research focuses on disturbance regimes and how they alter the structure and functions of ecosystems, has joined the YSE faculty as an assistant professor. This semester, she will teach a course on methane dynamics, an area of growing concern as atmospheric methane levels increase.
