LANSING, Michigan, Sept. 7 -- The Michigan Democratic Party issued the following news release:
John Roth, a northern Michigan lawmaker who won his primary race and will appear on the general election ballot should not be allowed to do so. To avoid running against another Republican representative, John Roth moved to the newly drawn 104th House District and changed his address, but failed to change his voter registration in time for the primary deadline.
