TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Sept. 3 (TNSper) -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release on Sept. 2, 2022:
On June 2, 2022, HB 7027 became law and "the terms of all members of the judicial nominating commissions of the First District Court of Appeal, the Second District Court of Appeal, and the Fifth District Court of Appeal" were terminated to account for the change in boundaries caused by the creation of the Sixth District Court of Appeal.
