WASHINGTON, Aug. 27 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded four grants totaling $2,771,089 to the Ohio State University as well as $59,999 to the Battelle Memorial Institute. These funds will be critical for scientific research projects and to increase participation in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
