WASHINGTON, Aug. 27 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) applauded the announcement that the U.S. Army will provide Poland with 250 M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams main battle tanks - worth up to $1.148 billion.
"The delivery of these world-class Ohio-made tanks to Poland will promote stability in Eastern Europe and deter Russia's aggression in the region. Outfitting our Polish allies with these tanks signals to Rus . . .
