WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 -- Rep. A. Donald McEachin, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on Aug. 25, 2022:
Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) announced a grant from the National Cancer Institute to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) for $512,284 to support research into particular breast cancer risk factors.
According to the American Cancer Society, it is estimated that 7,600 women in Virginia will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022.
