WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 -- Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Georgia, issued the following news release on Aug. 24, 2022:
Following President Biden's announcement that he is using taxpayer dollars to pay off up to $20,000 in student loans per borrower, Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) delivered the following statement:
"Woke universities don't need $300 billion in taxpayer dollars, especially when they continue to raise tuition even as the value of a four-year . . .
