WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- Rep. Ted Budd, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Aug. 15, 2022:
Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has co-sponsored H.R. 2037, the Jumpstart Our Businesses by Supporting Students Act.
The bipartisan bill would extend Pell Grant eligibility to qualified 8-15 week job training programs. The courses would be required to be tailored to the skills necessary for high-skilled, in-demand professions and would prepare graduates for any licensing exa . . .
