WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on Aug. 15, 2022:
The U.S. House passed the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, a legislative package to fight inflation, lower prescription costs for seniors, invest in domestic energy production and manufacturing, and reduce carbon emissions by roughly 40 percent by 2030.
