WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Virginia, issued the following news release and letter on Aug. 15, 2022:
The bipartisan senators from Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee sent a letter to Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), pressing for additional assistance to combat drug-trafficking in the Appalachian region.
