TRENTON, New Jersey, Aug. 16 -- New Jersey Acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin issued the following news release on Aug. 15, 2022:

Acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and Commissioner of Environmental Protection Shawn M. LaTourette announced today that ExxonMobil will pay the State $9.5 million to resolve a Natural Resource Damages (NRD) lawsuit brought against the company on behalf of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
