WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the United States Economic Development Administration (EDA) has awarded $210,000 to support Eastgate Regional Council of Governments in Youngstown with developing and implementing its region's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The strategy will span a three-county area that includes Ashtabula, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties.
