LANSING, Michigan, Aug. 3 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed Executive Order No. 2022-7, which recreates the Michigan Committee on Juvenile Justice in the Department of Health and Human Services.
"As chair of Michigan's Juvenile Justice Task Force, I am proud of the progress we have made recently to close equity gaps in our juvenile justice system, reduce recidivism, and create opportunity . . .
