BOWIE, Maryland, Aug. 3 -- Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Aug. 2, 2022:
This morning, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) visited the Bowie City Public Works Water Facility for a briefing on the funding he secured in the FY2022 Omnibus legislation. Congressman Hoyer has been vocal about the challenges that the city faces with tuberculated water pipes, and recently secured $2 million for the facility to replace a mile of water piping.
