WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Bob Good, R-Virginia, issued the following news release on July 29, 2022:
Congressman Good (R-VA) today voted against H.R. 1808, the Assault Weapons Ban of 2022 as an unconstitutional infringement on the 2nd Amendment. H.R. 1808 would classify many popular firearms as "assault weapons" for the purpose of banning their commercial sale and criminalizing their ownership, primarily based on cosmetic features, making numerous shotguns used by hunters . . .
