WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Rep. Austin Scott, R-Georgia, issued the following news release on July 29, 2022:
U.S. Representative Austin Scott (GA-08) today opposed H.R. 1808, which passed the House of Representatives with a vote of 217-213. This bill would ban some of the most popular firearms and magazines among law-abiding gun owners.
