WASHINGTON, July 30 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release on July 29, 2022:
U.S. Senator Susan Collins, a senior member of the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee, announced that she secured $2.5 million for Maine Maritime Academy (MMA) in the draft Fiscal Year 2023 Education appropriations bill. The bill, which was officially released by the full Senate Appropriations Committee today, must still be voted upon by the full Senate and House.
