WASHINGTON, July 27 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo announced that the Department's Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $3.2 million grant to the city of Annapolis, Maryland, for the design and engineering of a new city dock employing flood prevention measures. This grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan.
