WASHINGTON, July 27 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded a $249,955 grant to the University of Toledo to fund research investigating the effect of different levels of gravity on cells and organs. The project has a goal of helping drug development efforts as well as future projects at the International Space Station.
