U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded a $218,477 grant to Ohio University to fund research on the internal structure of protons and neutrons. The project also aims to train the next generation of scientists, to raise the profile of minority scientists, and to engage the public through STEM education for high school students.
