BOZEMAN, Montana, July 26 (TNSres) (TNSawa) -- Montana State University issued the following news release:

During his time as a postdoctoral researcher at Montana State University, Andrew Santiago-Frangos has received numerous national accolades for his research on an immune system called CRISPR -- an acronym describing how bacteria incorporate fragments of viral DNA into their own genome as a way to recognize and fight viruses.
