WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) applauded the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources for advancing his bipartisan African American Burial Grounds Preservation Act, which is co-sponsored by U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT). This legislation will now go before the Senate for a vote.
