Today bipartisan mental health leaders from the U.S. House wrote to Senate leaders urging passage of two House-passed bills intended to support the ongoing rollout of the new National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 9-8-8. The Lifeline's new 9-8-8 number, intended to be easier to remember and to dial, began operation this past Saturday.
