LANSING, Michigan, July 19 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on July 18, 2022:
Governor Gretchen Whitmer today declared a state of emergency for Marquette County to address the impacts of thunderstorms and flash flooding that caused widespread damage in May.
