WASHINGTON, July 13 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced an estimated $99,814,480 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) to provide a payment of $391 for approximately 255,280 West Virginia children to access healthy food and meals through the summer months.
