WASHINGTON, July 12 -- Rep. Ted Budd, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has proposed an amendment to insert his bill, the Veterans' Entry to Apprenticeship Act, into the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
The legislation would allow veterans to attend pre-apprenticeship programs using their Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits. Rep. Budd and Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) introduced the bill on June 2, 2021.
