WASHINGTON, July 7 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following document from the Economics Daily:
Unemployment rates were lower in May 2022 than a year earlier in 385 of the 389 metropolitan areas, higher in 2 areas, and unchanged in 2 areas. A total of 150 areas had jobless rates of less than 3.0 percent and 2 areas had rates of at least 10.0 percent.
