LEXINGTON, Virginia, July 2 (TNSres) -- Virginia Military Institute issued the following news:

The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Dec. 7, 1941, which killed 2,403 U.S. personnel, including 68 civilians, and destroyed or damaged 19 U.S. Navy ships, including 8 battleships, was a major intelligence failure.
