LANSING, Michigan, July 2 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release with Michigan Economic Development Corp.:

Governor Gretchen Whitmer joined the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to announce that plastics recycler Island Plastics will create 24 manufacturing jobs in Flint with support from the Michigan Strategic Fund.
