OLYMPIA, Washington, July 1 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Northwest Regional Field Office issued the following news release:

Winter wheat acres planted in Idaho are estimated at 780,000 acres, up 70,000 acres from last year. Harvested area is forecast at 720,000 acres, up 13 percent from 2021. In Oregon, acres planted to winter wheat are estimated at 730,000 acres, up 10,000 acres from the previous year. Acres to be harvested . . .
